Guided visits to art-galleries and private collectionsin Berlin – Private Feuerle Collection
In April we visit the private Feuerle Collection.Coming from Köln, it opened 2016 in Berlin on Hallesches Ufer. It is located in a World War II bunker specifically renovated for this exhibition by the British architect JohnPawson, known for his minimalist approach. The building develops on two stories and a private roof attic. The owner Désiré Feuerle, a German collectionist and gallerist, always liked to focus on contrasts: contemporary art with Southeast Asian sculptures and Chinese furniture from the imperial era, as well as light and darkness, silence and sounds.
