Once again, this month sees a mixture of many in-person activities and a few Zoom conferences. Two new activity groups will be starting up soon. Diana’s group Stroll in the Park in August and Anne Marie will be starting the Health and Well-being Group in September.

Kool Kiez go for lunch @ Sagano and Asian lounge.
English Speakers will meet up @ Käks and the French Speakers @ Eiscafé La Piazza.
The South-West Neighbourhood Group go for a walk along the lakeside from Glienicke Brücke and through Glienicker Park with a refreshment stop @ Wirtshaus Moorlake.
Meet & Greet @ Käks on the 8th and 22nd of the month. - The Evening Group will pay a visit to the Greenpeace Ship, the Beluga II
- Garden & Nature visit the Freundschaftsinsel, Potsdam, and the Walking Tiergarten group meet up every Thursday. (Many thanks to Juliet for the featured photo of a flower bed in the Tiergarten Park and the four walkers to the right).
- ZOOM meetings: The Science Group will discuss the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot and LovinGerman will take a closer look at German words and expressions.
The Afternoon Book Group review Whereabouts by Jhumpa Lahiri at the end of July, and in August 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World by Elif Shafak, shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2019.
The Biographies book Group will discuss the life of Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel and German Speakers plan two meetings in August to discuss some topics of interest, either online or in person.
