Berlin has an unparalleled cultural scene, and we offer our members some of the most interesting events, exhibitions and sites in and around the city. In these groups, members not only find out more about Berlin, they also meet like-minded women who share similar interests.
Art & Architecture Group
Our focus is on architecture, especially industrial architecture, in the time of rapid industrial development in Berlin at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century – an attractive architectural style based on historical models and often reconstructed with modern elements. We also visit interesting art exhibitions and artists’ studios.
Exploring Berlin Group
We see Berlin as a treasure chest of an infinite number of places to explore. Sometimes we offer the opportunity to take a detailed, behind-the-scenes look at well-known attractions. At other times we offer a look at lesser-known Berlin sites hidden away in the many towns and villages that came together to form Berlin in the early 20th century.
Potsdam Group
Potsdam, the capital of the state of Brandenburg, is a very near neighbor to Berlin. Its palaces and gardens and museums, its neighbourhoods and waterways, invite us to explore a world that sometimes seems far away from Berlin but is still on the S-Bahn. And of course its distinctive cafés and restaurants invite us to stop for refreshment and conversation afterward!
