Tours and Talks
Tuesday, 20 January A private screening of the documentary film Planet Ocean. Watch a team of international underwater cinematographers as they explore the bond between humanity and the ocean.
Thursday, 22 January Visit to the exhibition “Rico Puhlmann: Fashion Photography 50s-90s”, at the Museum für Fotografie Berlin, documenting central themes of fashion history over four decades, from the Berlin chic of the postwar period to the changes in dress codes in the late 20th century.
Saturday, 31 January A workshop on scent design. We’ll smell our way through a curated scent bar and learn how to blend materials and create our own customised fragrance to take home at the end of the workshop.

Tuesday, 6 January Our annual Three Kings coffee, where old friends and new will meet and the Queen who finds the favour in the traditional cake will be crowned.
Friday, 9 January Lunch at Der Kretaner, a restaurant offering traditional Greek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere with two stunning fireplaces and an impressive Greek wine cellar.
Thursday, 22 January Lunch at Hauptstadtrestaurant Gendarmerie—German and French specialities in an elegant setting at the historic Gendarmenmarkt.
Friday, 23 January A Couples’ Evening offers a chance to get to know your fellow-members’ “better halves” in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
Saturday, 24 January Blind Wine Challenge. Everyone brings a dish to share and a bottle of wine—participants guess at the grape varieties, discover new favorites, and enjoy good company.
Tuesday, 27 January A “Unity in Diversity” dinner at a member’s home, highlighting South African cuisine, which draws on traditions from local indigenous groups like the Khoisan, Xhosa, and Sotho, to the British and Dutch European colonisers, and later the Indian and Malay populations
Also, under the title “Body and Soul,” a member offers a congenial evening together with a light meal, at a mutually convenient time for participants.

Wednesday, 7 January The Poetry for Pleasure group meets to share and discuss favorite poems in diverse languages.
Monday, 26 January The Afternoon Book Group will discuss The Director by Daniel Kehlmann.

Thursday, 1 January Berlin New Year’s Run: a relaxed 4 km running-walking event, to get the new year off to a brisk start.

A yoga course for beginners, at times convenient for participants, helps to build strength, flexibility, and calm at your own pace.

The Club has multiple Mah Jong groups that play regularly, as well as a crafts group that meets at participants’ convenience.
