Christmas party and charity event 2023
It was a very special holiday party this year! It was not only a party for the Club, but also a fundraiser for Hestia Frauenhaus, a shelter for women and children fleeing from violence in abusive relationships. After the party we were able to deliver €5.500 to the Frauenhaus, which will help to finance some much-needed projects at the house. A silent auction of wonderful donations culminated with the delivery of the items at the party: from a painting by a prominent Berlin artist to baskets of British food specialties, to silk scarves and a professional photo shoot and
Secret Santa Christmas 2022
On 6 December our Secret Santa party celebrated the beginning of the Christmas season in our Club, with a Kaffee, Kuchen and Sekt afternoon at Chapeau Brasserie in Charlottenburg. The Brasserie prepared tables with beautiful decoration and the attendance of our members greatly exceeded our expectations. It was a lively and bustling afternoon! We had the pleasure of welcoming members we had not seen for a long time, as well as new members. There were Christmas songs, gift exchanges, chocolates from Rausch, lots of smiles, and best wishes for a successful and healthy 2023.

There followed another selection of dishes, from dumplings stuffed with spicy minced meat to a crunchy cheese pastry/bread. Then came huge platters of chicken and lamb kebabs, very
Christmas Dinner 2019 @ Casa Carlotta
What an evening! Christmas Dinner @ Casa Carlotta. A wonderful event organised by BIWC's Social Events team. Everyone sat together in a huge, nicely decorated room so that there was opportunity to walk around and chat with other members and their partners. In traditional BIWC fashion, friendly conversations at every table. This gem could be our venue for next year, too! Birgit Linde-Oswald
