Every Tuesday English-speaking play group for parents with babies and toddlers, open to non-members.
Tuesday, 4 March Monthly Meeting with celebration of International Women’s Day. A participatory program full of information about women who make a difference around the world. Open to non-members.
Tuesday, 11 March A visit to the “Lion Estate” in Britz. Hear a historian of the area explain the background of this striking housing complex, and visit an artist’s studio in it.
Tuesday, 18 March A visit to a tuba workshop, which makes and repairs a variety of brass instruments, including unusual historical instruments.
Thursday, 27 March A visit to Domäne Dahlem, with a visit to its museum, and a leisurely walk through its fields with the fruit trees in bloom and hopefully some newborn lambs and piglets.
Thursday, 27 March A visit to the home and studio of noted artist Margaret Hunter.
Food, Drink, and Friends
Friday, 14 March Lunch at the Grand Bar Café and Restaurant. Their fresh international crossover cuisine fuses Berlin flair with US and Italian specialties. A good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes is available also.
Thursday, 20 March Lunch at the Midtown Grill, an American-style restaurant which offers not only high-quality steaks but also a selection of fish, pasta or vegetarian dishes.
Also, under the title “Body and Soul,” a member offers a congenial evening together with a light meal, at a mutually convenient time for participants.

Wednesday, 5 March The Poetry for Pleasure group meets to read and talk about favorite poems.
Monday, 31 March The Afternoon Book Group discusses Tell Me Everything, by Elizabeth Strout.
The Film Buffs, a WhatsApp group, goes to the movies together on an ad hoc basis.
