Get to know this idyllic setting of old country houses, renovated Wilhelmine-era buildings, green squares, and small cafes, where numerous artists, musicians, and writers have lived, including three Nobel Prize winners in Literature.
Sunday, 31 May A visit to Peacock Island House, Berlin’s romantic gem in the River Havel. After extensive renovation work, the enchanting little palace on Peacock Island will once again be welcoming visitors.

Thursday, 22 May Lunch at the elegant restaurant Heritage on Gendarmenmarkt, serving classic dishes with an innovative twist.
Friday, 23 May An Italian evening at a member’s home. We will offer a a demonstration of how to prepare a typical Italian dish, and follow with a classic four-course Italian menu, from a mixed starter and welcome drink to dessert.
Also, under the title “Body and Soul,” a member offers a congenial evening together with a light meal, at a mutually convenient time for participants.

Wednesday 7 May The Poetry for Pleasure group meets to hear and discuss poetry in multiple languages.
Sunday, 11 May and Sunday 25 May. The Silent Reading group meets to share a quiet time for reading and then an opportunity to talk about favorite books, magazines, podcasts, etc.
Monday, 26 May the Afternoon Book group will discuss Address Unknown by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor.
The Film Buffs, a WhatsApp group, goes to the movies together on an ad hoc basis.
